The actress Calista Flockhart once summed it up rather well. “I do wish my breasts were bigger,” she said. “Not big, but less small.”
If you feel like Calista there is now something you can do about it, without resorting to surgery and with no scars. It’s called Lipofixing and involves having fat harvested from a more rotund part of your body and injected into your boobs. Sounds like a dream come true. Sadly the plastic surgeon who told me about it said I didn’t have enough fat anywhere to make much of a difference.
“Can I bring a fat friend?” I asked.
Apparently not.
The procedure is geared to women whose breasts have diminished through age and/or childbearing. There is a limit to the amount of increase, but you can have a top-up after six months so you can store some of the harvested fat for that.
It’s not cheap, but you do get a bit of a two-for-one in that you get rid of fat from somewhere you don’t want it and put it somewhere you do!
Lipofixing fat harvest transfer to breasts costs £6000 at the London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery info@lcas.com +44 207 6364272 www.lcas.com
PERFORMANCE: Have not personally tried it, but am reliably informed it works extremely well.
