So Chelsea are out of the Premier League and Rafa (cue vast pic) lost to Djokovic in Miami. I fear that in terms of the tennis, it is the end of an era. Federer doesn’t even seem to pose much of a threat any more and even Rafa seems rattled by the Serb. I guess the clay season will be the real test.
Tomorrow we have the agonising prospect of watching Chelsea get kicked out of the Champions League when they play Man United. Happily it is on late and Leo will be asleep, because watching Chelsea with him is one of the most stressful things you can do. Mainly he screams, and weeps, and complains. Then there is the odd moment of pure joy when we score. I suppose that’s why we all put up with sport, for those rare glimpses of happiness.
My favourite sport to watch is anything that involves Leo. Last week at his football class he scored a double hat-trick and was man of the match. If only he were big enough to play for Chelsea we’d be fine tomorrow night…..
