Why every woman hates Carla Bruni

31st January 2008 by Helena 17 Comments

CarlaBefore I start my rant, for those of you who noticed I was missing, I am sorry. The server had to changed for reasons I am not clever enough to understand. For those of you who didn’t, where the hell were you?

Anyway it’s not just servers that are driving me mad at the moment. Everywhere I go in the house all I hear are the husky ‘I want to steal your husband’ tones of a certain Miss Carla Bruni.

My husband has got the Bruni-bug bad. Ever since the French president started stepping out with her he has spent most of his time reading about her exploits, listening to her dreary music or watching clips of her on YouTube.

He lost his trainers the other day. “Maybe Carla Bruni has taken them,” he said, “in a desperate attempt to get me to come and claim them back from her.” Yeah, right.

Deranged he may be, but I fear he is not alone. For Miss Bruni is every man’s dream and every woman’s nightmare. This is a girl who believes in free love and has the looks and guile to get it wherever she wants.

If I were the Queen I would refuse to have her anywhere near me on the upcoming state visit, married or not. Married, as we know, means nothing to the capricious Carla. Unless the Queen wants to risk losing her husband and possibly her son and/or grandson she should keep her well away from the palace.

But you must admit she has got a rather nice derrie`re, which seems to count for a lot nowadays!

She is gorgeous though….I am hoping she is a bore, dull and without an iota of self-depreciation, wit and humour…I don’t think the men mind though!
By bet is that as soon as he leaves office the marriage(?) will crumble and she will flit off to some other poor, powerful, unsuspecting gullible man, who will puff out a pigeon chest and crow “Because I’m worth it.”

Obviously having a bitchy day today…wouldn’t it be too awful if she was gorgeous, the perfect friend, witty, vivacious, kind and generous!

    Helena,

The only thing worse than an old fool is the fool who is willing to marry this little tramp and expecting a happy ending. Carla was quoted as saying ,”I am bored by monogamy.” Gee, how will this relationship end??? Tell your husband to keep his eyes in his head or you’ll scratch them out for him. She will not stick around to soothe his aching brow in his old age. The only justice here is that eventually she will get old like everyone else and her looks will flee. I don’t even think she is all that attractive!

Sour grapes! She’s a babe and we all want one. Who cares if she doesn’t stick around?

Why no pictures of the lovely, lissom carla? There is always no shortage of shots of half-dressed tennis players and recently, I see, some rather dodgy firemen. What is this, a Village People website?

To a point I agree – I don’t particularly like women who go after married men.

But in all fairness, at least she is open and honest about her exploits. And what about the responsibilities of the men? If there is one thing I hate more than women going for married men it’s the married men who say ‘she made me do it’.

My partner and I checked her out on the web last night, and we both decided that, looks wise, she’s not too shabby, is she? In the UK we don’t really hear that much about her, to be honest.
As a musician myself, I have to say she’s not the greatest talent I have ever seen, although she’s actually a much better guitarist than I expected. Not such a good singer though!
I say thank god you still have such people in France, and as I’m over next week for a month to finish the renovation on my house, I’ll look forward to reading more about her in the French press!

I see that Miss Bruni is suing Ryanair for 500,000 euros (“The amount I would expect to be paid for an advertising campaign”). Sarko is suing for 1 euro. Relative values? Self assessment?

Is she just a little tart who threw herself at France’s most powerful man because she could no longer get any get any record, movie or modeling deals?

Is he the ageing rake who believes his voters are proud to have a skirt chasing swordsman in the Palais d l’Elysée?

On the day he became President of the mediocre country that is France. He unceremoniously dumped a woman with a past (like all French women) – Spoiled goods and too many skeletons in the cupboard. She had to be traded in for a younger look-a-like, better-in-a-bikini, youthful in-touch sort of broad.

As if 20 year olds gave a damn about gouvernment.

Do the French electorate really need her? Does she improve Sarko’s image in the popularity stakes? Can he run the country while he’s looking at her bum? – but then, all Frenchmen spend their days looking at girls bums – and fantasizing inadequately.

    A few years ago I was given Carla’s CD “Quelqu’un m’a dit”.
I was on a beach vacation in Florida at the time and the most enjoyable moment of the disc was to remove it from the CD player, haul myself from the deck chair, walk down to the point were the silver sands meet the Gulf of Mexico and send it wind milling as far as I could into surf and sunset.

My question is: would Ms. Bruni have been so enchanted with Mr. Sarkozy had he been the local butcher(with great respect for the butcher!)?
As a model she was very attractive and seemed to have some idea of what she was doing. Her musicianship (dare I call it that), voice and any other musical pretenses she may have hidden away are simply PATHETIC___but her “connections” (pre-Sarkozy) are excellent.

    I agree: she’s a tramp.

    going after married men.

that is the lowest of the low.

But what else do you expect? She’s French.
    (sluts…)

I personally believe that ANY man will be tempted by a beautiful woman – but it is the woman’s moral duty to respect the institution of marriage.

But I guess with Bruni – who appears to have no respect for monogamy – that doesn’t matter.

Even more reason to call her a tramp to her face.
I don’t care how beautiful or talented (or in her case untalented) she may be – she has the soul and spirit of a ugly witch.

    Time and Karma will tell…

Thank gawd for the last few posts! I was beginning to think everyone on earth had lost their humanity and moral compass. Of course Carla is a tramp and a slut! The only difference between her and a streetwalker is her money and connections. Although slutty behavior seems to be accepted by a certain generation, it is still slutty behavior. Dressing up a whore in fancy clothes and makeup doth not a lady make! Carla has the instincts of an alley cat – and in reply to Margaret’s post, she WOULD NOT make a good friend. A good friend would never steal your man! From my understanding, Carla and Jerri Hall had modeled together and use to party together – then of course Carla had to have Mick (Who the hell would want old rubber lips!) some friend! For once, I have to say at least Britney Spears has an excuse for her slutty behavior – she’s certifiably nuts! What’s Carla’s excuse?

Carla’s the most beautiful woman in the whole wide world!!! Just watch her catwalk videos from the mid of nineties’! All other women look either dull or vulgar in comparison to her…She’s a piece of art…. Her fierced walk, cold blue eyes, sharp features, slender lissom body simply take your breath away! And she’s got an Attitude! Perfect God’s creation!

I fell in love with Carla when he first album came out – and I have loved her ever since. I’ve heard some poisonous words come out of women’s lips about her (once a lady demanded her music be stopped in a shop as ‘she is nothing but a courtesan!’).

But to me she is an accomplished, talanted and beautiful woman who chose not to fall back on her family’s means. I hold her in high regard and I congratulated my boyfriend on finding her attractive – he has good taste!

I must say – I do find reading through these vulgar posts from other readers quite entertaining – especially as the flip side is that so many men get away with much worse behaviour but get none of these scathing comments.

Carla Bruni is beautiful, attractive? Look at her nose, cheek, cheek bone, chin, face figure, eyes, eyesbrows. All of them are so strange in an unharmonious way.
It’s a result of botox, nose job, plastic surgery, trillions tons of make-up. Her eyes are the only thing which can move in her face. Does an all natural beauty need these? If an ugly one like Carla Bruni can turn to be “beautiful and attractive” by all these, there are much much more lovely, beautiful, attractive women in this world than she definitely.

A woman everyone loves to hate! Power hungry, gold digger! She’s born very ugly! Her “beauty”is all fake! A real beauty doesn’t need plastic surgery and botox! Don’t want to see or hear carla bitch anymore! She’s very very irritating and disgusting! Italy, what a fuck country!
